Refund policy
Thank you for shopping with Laws Drinks Systems. We aim to supply high quality dispense and cellar equipment. If something is not right with your order, please review the policy below.
Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
To request a return, please use the return request option within your order.
Once your return request has been approved, you will have a further 14 days to return the goods.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused and uninstalled
- In the same condition as received
- In original packaging where possible
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Items must be returned in resaleable condition.
We reserve the right to refuse a return or make a deduction where an item shows signs of:
- Use or installation
- Damage
- Missing components
- Reduced resale value
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the item has been received and inspected.
Delivery Charges
If you cancel your order within the 14-day cancellation period:
- Standard delivery costs will be refunded
- Premium delivery upgrades will not be refunded
Customers are responsible for return postage costs for unwanted items.
Where only part of an order is returned, delivery charges will not be refunded.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please submit a return request within your order and include photographs where possible.
Where a genuine fault or error is confirmed, we will offer a:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
In line with UK consumer law, we will also refund:
- Original delivery costs
- Reasonable return postage costs
Fault Reporting & Timeframes
We strongly recommend that all items are checked and tested upon receipt.
Within 14 Days
Faults reported within 14 days will be treated as early-stage issues, allowing for quicker resolution.
After 14 Days
Faults reported after 14 days will be treated as a potential warranty claim.
We may require:
- Additional information or evidence
- Return of the item for inspection
After 30 Days
Faults reported after 30 days will be handled under warranty terms only.
- The item will require inspection and/or testing
- It will not be automatically accepted as faulty on arrival
- If no manufacturing fault is found, no refund will be issued
Inspection & Testing
All items returned as faulty are inspected.
If testing confirms:
- No fault is present
- The item is functioning correctly
- The issue is caused by installation, setup or external factors
Then:
- A refund will not be issued
- Return postage may not be refunded
Installed or Used Items
Due to the nature of dispense equipment:
- Items that have been installed, connected, or used cannot be returned as unwanted goods
- Any issues will be treated as a fault or warranty claim
Many reported faults are caused by:
- Incorrect installation
- Incorrect gas pressure or setup
- Compatibility issues
- Wear to serviceable parts such as seals
Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items cannot be returned once opened, used or installed:
- Seals, gaskets and washers
- Cleaning chemicals or tablets
- Installed or fitted dispense components
- Taps, couplers or fittings connected to a system
Clearance items are final sale and non-returnable.
Warranty & Returns for Inspection (Return to Base)
All warranty claims are handled on a return to base basis.
This means:
- The item must be returned to us for inspection before any warranty claim can be processed
- Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of returning the item to us
Once the item has been received, we will carry out an inspection and/or testing to determine whether a manufacturing fault is present.
If a Fault is Confirmed
If a genuine manufacturing fault is identified:
- We will offer a repair, replacement or refund in line with UK consumer law
- Reasonable return postage costs will be reimbursed
If No Fault is Found
If inspection shows:
- No fault is present
- The item is functioning correctly
- The issue is due to installation, setup, wear or external factors
Then:
- The warranty claim will be rejected
- Return postage costs will not be reimbursed
- The item can be returned to the customer at their expense
Important Conditions
- Items must not be returned without prior authorisation
- We strongly recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit
- Any items returned incomplete, damaged or altered may void the warranty claim
Installation Responsibility
Dispense equipment should be installed by a competent person.
We cannot accept responsibility for issues caused by incorrect installation or system setup.

Late Returns
Returns requested outside of the stated timeframes may not be accepted.
