Keep your beer colder for longer with our beer font cooling looms, designed to circulate chilled recirculation water through your beer font and help maintain product temperature right up to the back of the dispense tap.
Please note these looms are supplied in 2 metre lengths only
Without font cooling, beer can warm up inside the font between pours, leading to excessive foaming and inconsistent dispense quality. A cooling loom helps ensure the font remains chilled, improving beer quality and reducing wasted product.
These cooling looms are suitable for use with flash coolers, shelf coolers, remote coolers and python systems where a recirculating cooling circuit is available.
The integrated water lines can be connected directly to a cooler recirculation pump or to a cooling manifold within a python system, allowing chilled water to continuously circulate through the font.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a beer font cooling loom?
A cooling loom is a combination of product lines and recirculation water lines designed to run through a beer font. The chilled water helps keep the font cold and prevents beer warming before dispense.
How long are the looms?
All looms are 2 metres in length
Can I have a cooling loom made longer than 2 metres?
The cooling looms are supplied in 2 metre lengths, however you can extend the tubing if you wish, however we wouldn't normally recommend extending a loom to around 6 metres when it's being used with a shelf cooler. The looms use 3/16" recirculation tubing, and the recirculation pumps fitted to most shelf coolers are generally designed for much shorter runs, typically up to around 2 metres. Extending the loom significantly may reduce the effectiveness of the cooling water circulation.
If you're using a full remote cooler with a python system, longer distances are not usually an issue. In this situation, we would generally recommend using a 4+6 python of the required length rather than extending a standard cooling loom, as this is the more suitable solution for longer runs.
If you're unsure which option is best for your installation, please contact us and we'll be happy to advise.
Why do I need a cooling loom?
Without cooling, beer can warm up inside the font between pours. This can contribute to excessive foaming and inconsistent product quality.
How is the cooling loom connected?
The cooling water lines can be connected directly to a cooler recirculation pump or via a cooling manifold within a python system.
Can I use this with a python system?
Yes. These looms are suitable for connection to a cooling manifold within a python system.
How many product lines do I need?
Choose a loom based on the number of products being dispensed through your font. For example, a 3-out loom is suitable for a three-product font and includes 3 product lines plus 2 cooling water lines.
Is this suitable for home bars?
Yes. Cooling looms are commonly used in both commercial and home bar installations where font cooling is required.
