Guinness has a smoothly balanced but bitter taste with hints of chocolate and roasted coffee. A beautiful dark red in colour wih a thick creamy head. There is a right way to pour draught Guinness to make sure you get a great tasting pint. Using a clean, dry glass tilted at 45 degrees, fill until it's about three quarters full, then wait. Allow the surge to settle before continuing to fill the glass to the top. Then savour the taste. 

History

Brewed for the first time back in 1959, Guinness was originally brewed to celebrate the 200 year anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing the lease on the brewery.
