Sankey Cleaning Socket – S Type Keg Coupler | Single or Trade Pack of 10
This Sankey cleaning socket is designed for wall mounting in a beer cellar as part of a ring main beer line cleaning system.
The socket provides a fixed cleaning point for Sankey (S Type) keg couplers, allowing beer lines to be connected to the cellar cleaning system as part of the regular line cleaning process.
Featuring 3/8" John Guest push-fit connections, the socket can be incorporated into the cleaning ring main and securely wall mounted within the cellar.
Available as a single cleaning socket or a trade pack of 10, ideal for larger installations, service engineers and dispense companies requiring multiple cleaning points.
Pack Options
- Single – 1 x Sankey Cleaning Socket
- Trade Pack of 10 – 10 x Sankey Cleaning Sockets
The trade pack offers a lower price per socket and is suitable for larger installations, multiple sites or keeping stock for future cellar work.
Designed for Cellar Ring Main Cleaning Systems
In a cellar fitted with a cleaning ring main, wall-mounted cleaning sockets provide dedicated connection points for keg couplers during beer line cleaning.
Instead of connecting the coupler to a keg, the Sankey coupler is connected to the cleaning socket, allowing the associated beer line to form part of the cleaning process.
This provides a practical permanent solution for pubs, bars and other commercial draught beer installations where multiple beer lines require regular cleaning.

How Is the Cleaning Socket Used?
The cleaning socket is installed in the beer cellar as part of the line cleaning ring main.
During beer line cleaning, the Sankey keg coupler is disconnected from the keg and connected to the wall-mounted cleaning socket. This allows the beer line to be cleaned through the cellar's ring main cleaning system.
After cleaning and thoroughly rinsing the system, the coupler can be disconnected from the cleaning socket and reconnected to the appropriate beer keg.
Important – Keg Coupler Type
This cleaning socket is designed for Sankey / S Type keg couplers.
Keg coupler types are not interchangeable, so a different cleaning socket may be required for other keg connections.
If you're unsure which cleaning socket you require for your cellar installation, contact us with details or an image of your keg coupler and we'll help identify the correct type.
